Nantwich photographs

The Square, 1941

ONE hundred of the Museum's most interesting photographs are now available to a wider audience, thanks to Cheshire Record Office (also known as Cheshire and Chester Archives and Local Studies).

They are available for sale on line by visiting the website www.picturecheshire.org.uk.

This is described as "a collection of digital images created from original material - photographs, slides and negatives - held at Cheshire Record Office."

The website's Picture of the Month in October 2008 was the 1941 photograph of a Civil Defence demonstration in The Square (above).

The photographs are for personal use only. The use of any for publication or commercial use is subject to payment of a fee. See the Picture Cheshire website for details.
