WHAT a good idea to ask local artists to display their talent in the museum, especially Reuben Amarna's robotic display which attracted younger people who then go on to look at the rest of the displays and actually enjoy and show interest in the history of these displays.
Keep up the good ideas.

I LIVED in Nantwich for the greater part of my childhood. Now 53 years old, I came across this website whilst looking for pictures of old Nantwich. I found it fascinating and easy to navigate. The next time I visit Nantwich I will return to the museum and have a good look around. You seem to have developed a great deal since my last visit about five years ago. On that occasion I was surprised to see a photograph of my grandfather, Thomas Parsonage, a well-known figure about the town. I believe he was presiding over a cheese competition, but that could be a trick of the memory. Anyway, congratulations on an interesting and easily accessible website.

KIA Ora* from New Zealand. I have looked at your website, and found it of much interest. It is over five years since I had my last visit to your museum.

   I was very proud to see my late Uncle Jack had his fine work displayed therein. I came to NZ in 1987 but still miss my homeland. It is therefore of real benefit to me to be able to visit such websites.

   They say nothing stays the same, but on my last visit I can truly say some things do: Nantwich Pork Pies! Hopefully not at the expense of another civil war  - over pork pies(!) - I was referring, of course, to pies from H.Clewlow of Pepper Street.

   Hopefully I will get one more visit to Nantwich before I, too, become a museum piece!

    Almost all expats miss one extremely endearing quality of the British people and that's our wonderful sense of humour.
