What our status means to us - and you
THE Museum was granted Accredited
status by the
 Museums, Libraries and Archives Council.
The accreditation scheme is now run by Arts Council England.
The certificate
presented to the Museum by the MLA says: "To qualify (for accreditation), museums
must meet basic requirements on how they care for and document their
collections, how they are governed and managed, and on the information
and services they offer to their users."
